A short story about me

There exists a frontier where science meets intuition, where ancient wisdom embraces modern neurology. I'm Kertész Ferenc Alpár—clinical psychologist, Ericksonian hypnotherapist, and cartographer of internal landscapes. Welcome to InnerBlade.

Origins & Philosophy

My journey into psychology emerged not from textbooks but from the uneven terrain of early life—where I discovered that our minds can be both the wilderness and the compass. Those formative challenges revealed that resilience isn't armor we don but a garden we tend with patience and intention.

In my practice, I've observed how we often stand at the threshold of transformation, hesitating not from fear of change but from unfamiliarity with our own potential. Like a blade that finds its purpose through careful sharpening, our minds achieve clarity through deliberate attention and skillful guidance.

Professional Journey

My clinical psychology practice has meandered through diverse landscapes of human experience—each environment revealing new facets of our shared psychological terrain:

Within the structured halls of a private clinic, I witnessed how formal therapeutic frameworks both contain and sometimes constrain the wild nature of our inner worlds.

As a clinical psychologist in a children's home, I observed young souls constructing intricate internal architectures—defensive towers and secret gardens alike—teaching me that resilience often flourishes most vibrantly where it seems least likely to take root.

My role as coordinator and clinical psychologist at an elderly daycare center revealed how our psyches continue their evolution into winter seasons—where memory becomes both more fragile and more precious, reminding me that integration remains our lifelong companion.

Co-founding a local AA addiction recovery center illuminated the delicate choreography between dependency and autonomy—showing me how profound strength often emerges precisely at the point of acknowledged vulnerability.

My psychological work with Save the Children Organization taught me how early interventions create ripple effects across lifetimes—where moments of genuine connection become anchors in turbulent seas.

Currently, at the largest mental health center in Targu Mures, I navigate daily between different constellations of suffering and recovery, applying clinical psychology across generations—from children whose worlds are still forming to adults reconfiguring established patterns. This immersion across the full spectrum of pathologies has become my most profound teacher—each client a unique text revealing universal human themes.

Approach & Methodology

At InnerBlade, each session becomes a calibrated experience where science meets instinct. I weave together:

  • Ericksonian hypnosis: accessing the unconscious mind where both wounds and medicines reside

  • Neurofeedback: creating tangible pathways to cognitive regulation

  • Meditation practices: cultivating the space between stimulus and response

  • Elements of mentalism: illustrating the power of perception and suggestion

My methods reflect waters I've navigated myself—combining the strategic patience of Sun Tzu, the disciplined self-reflection of Marcus Aurelius, and the paradoxical wisdom of Musashi.
